2. Data, purposes and legal bases
- Orders and contract performance: name, billing and shipping address, email, phone, order, payment and communication data; Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- Accounting and tax: billing and payment data; Article 6(1)(c) GDPR and applicable accounting and tax law.
- Complaints, withdrawals and legal claims: data required to process the request and establish or defend claims; Article 6(1)(b), (c) and (f) GDPR.
- Customer account: login and profile data; contract performance or pre-contractual steps.
- Newsletter: email on the basis of consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.
- Website security and essential cookies: technical logs, IP address and session data where necessary; legitimate interest in secure operation. Optional cookies are used only according to the choice made in the cookie banner.
Data marked as required at checkout are necessary to conclude and perform the contract. Without them, the order cannot be processed. There is no automated individual decision-making or profiling producing legal effects.
3. Recipients and processors
- Websupport s.r.o. – web hosting and email infrastructure (SMTP server smtp.m1.websupport.sk),
- Packeta Slovakia s. r. o. – parcel delivery; only data required for delivery are provided,
- Slovenská sporiteľňa, a.s. – bank transfer processing,
- the external accountant engaged by KP s.r.o. and competent tax, supervisory or other authorities where required by law,
- contracted IT support providers only to the necessary extent and under confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
The website currently does not use a payment gateway or card payments. No carrier data are shared for local pickup. Personal data are not sold. Data are not transferred outside the European Economic Area unless an appropriate GDPR transfer mechanism applies.
4. Retention periods
- completed orders, invoices and accounting records: 10 years under Slovak accounting law,
- pending, failed and cancelled orders: 30 days, unless needed for a dispute or longer retention is required by law,
- inactive customer account: 36 months after the last activity,
- complaints and withdrawals: during processing and generally 3 years afterwards; until final resolution where a dispute exists,
- ordinary contact messages: no longer than 2 years after completion,
- newsletter: until consent is withdrawn, no longer than 5 years after the last demonstrable activity,
- security logs: generally no longer than 12 months.
5. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing before withdrawal. Send requests to info@networkcafe.sk. You may also lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic.
6. Legal framework and cookies
Processing is governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Slovak Act No. 18/2018 Coll. Cookie details and consent controls are available in the Cookie Policy.
